Six Month Anniversary Video

The Pilgrim and the Wolf is in pre-read by some of you (and some folks I know who do this for a living!) and is set to release in a month. Once it does, I was going to celebrate with this video that encapsulates all of the three books into one promo trailer. It’s a bit long for social media (where the average Species Seventeen member has the attention span of a housecat) but for those of you who love the science and detail, perhaps it’ll ring true. You’ll notice each is a scene from one of the three books (for those of you who haven’t read the third, you’ll get a preview!). Making AI videos is enjoyable, and it gives me a break between the creation of prose, and allows me to flex a different side of my creative muscle.

Many of you know that I have a full-time job, and while I got started in writing this past year, it’s my hope to do this when I retire - six or seven years down the road. I’m hoping to have a strong franchise to serve as the Leap Point (har-de-har-har) to the next phase of my life. Originally, I thought about making four books in the Humanity’s Leap series, but I’ve fallen in love with many of the characters, and I’m not sure I want to give them up in one more book. There’s certainly plenty of content to make more.
