Pilgrim and the Wolf, Trailer 2

I know, I know. “Stop making trailers and finish the damned book.” But trailers are fun distractions. I try to get all the AI scenes perfectly done, but the AI program itself (well, all AI programs) lack the sophistication to understand what the creator is actually looking for. And so there are regenerative tries after regenerative tries in order to get things to be the way you need them. Multiple programs - one for voices, one for sound effects, two for images and one for motion in those images - are necessary just to get a 3-5 second snapshot. It’s a veritable pain in the ass.

Book three is getting there. Probably about 15-20% left, including the “crescendo” as I like to call it, where everything ties together and is resolved, other than the “hook” which is meant for the reader to look forward to the next book. That’s the stuff that gets me hate mail and angry texts, and my wife telling me to sleep in the other room for a week. “How could you leave it like that??” Hmph.

In other news, the second Audiobook - “The Architect” is finally done, and I’m waiting on Audible’s final approval on it, which takes 10 days. And they use all of those days, too. We’re on day 7, unless they mean 10 business days, in which case we’re on day 5.

Soon!
