Merry Christmas! (And a Trailer)

Merry Christmas to all, and Happy Hanukkah. I woke up this morning and baked some cookies for the family, did some writing and then made the attached video. I’ll post this on social media in the next week or so, but you folks here are family!

Severant is moving along. I’m about 200-250 pages in, and I’ve had to curtain the horror motif just a bit as that’s where it was going. This is SciFi, I get it. But there are some scenes that go down the horror path as well. Hopefully that doesn’t turn off too many readers. It’s not overly gorey, but there’s just…call it an “Alien-esque” type of feel to it.

At any rate, I hope you enjoy the trailer. I’m using Google veo3 now, since it seems to knock the socks off of others. The images are sometimes created in Midjourney because it has a darker quality to it. I use LTX still for the sound and for some rendering, but voices are still done in Elevenlabs.
